WHAT IS FACIAL FAT INJECTION?

It is the process of applying fat in the form of thin layers to the areas of the face that need fullness and vitality. The fat to be injected here is taken from the abdomen or hip area. Fat injection takes about 30-60 minutes.

WHAT ARE THE TECHNIQUES USED IN FAT INJECTION TO THE FACE?

There are many different techniques and tools for fat injection. Basically, fats are taken with special liposuction injectors and transferred to another injector and injected into new areas. In both stages, there is no need to make cuts and apply stitches. During the procedure, it is enough to give the patient local anesthesia.

IN WHICH SITUATION CAN YOU HAVE FACIAL FAT INJECTION?

Fat injections can be applied to any patient who is over middle-aged and has a general weariness on his face. In addition, facial contours can be changed with fat injections in patients with a structurally flattened mid-face, chin tip and weak jaw line.

RECOVERY PROCESS AFTER FACIAL FAT INJECTION

This procedure is an intervention that does not require hospitalization and the patient can go home a few hours after the procedure. Small bands placed at the entry points for fat injection can be removed a few hours after the procedure or the next day. Antibiotics are taken for 5 days after the fat injection is finished.

After the application, the appearance of the face or the injection area in the early period does not change only with the oil given. In addition, since a minor surgical intervention is performed, it is normal for an edema to occur in that area. This edema should not be confused with fat injection. Edema dissipates rapidly in the days after surgery, decreases and disappears over time.
