HOW TO DO HAIR TRANSPLANT?
Hair transplant is the procedure of transplanting the hairs taken from an area with strong hair roots to the area with little or no hair. Although this surgical method is mostly preferred by men, it can also be applied to women.
Hair transplantation should not be considered only as an operation process. Before the procedure, a detailed hair analysis and examination is performed, the number of grafts is determined and planning is made. This process is just as important as the process itself. On the day of hair implant, first of all, the head area of the patient is anesthetized with the help of local anesthesia. After the anesthesia shows its effect, the hair follicles to be transplanted from the donor area are collected. These hair follicles are taken from the back and sides of the scalp. Small incisions are made for each hair follicle in the area where the hair follicles will be transplanted. Transplantation is carried out as planned, taking into account the direction of elongation and growth of the hair. During the operation, which lasts about 6 hours, the patient does not feel any pain, as it is under the influence of sedation.
WHAT ARE THE TECHNIQUES USED IN HAIR TRANSPLANT?
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) Hair Transplant
FUE is the most used hair transplant method. In this method, hair follicles are taken one by one and a natural hair transplant is performed. Thanks to the hair transplantation with sapphire tips we have developed, the tissue is less damaged and the recovery time is shortened considerably.
DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) Hair Transplant
It is not an exaggeration to say that it is the most advanced hair transplant technique. Thanks to this technique, it is possible to finish the process without opening canals and with minimal incisions. Thus, both the duration of hair transplantation is shortened and the scars of the person are less obvious.
After the research we have done within, we have taken this technique even further and presented a technique called “DHI Plus Gold” to the world of hair transplantation. In this technique, we use gold needle tips, which are also our own design, and we finish the process with less damage thanks to the gold that does not harm the tissue at all.
Recovery Process After Hair Transplant
The operation is completed by applying a bandage and dressing to the donor area. This dressing is removed by the surgeon on the second day after the procedure and the first wash is performed by the surgeon in the clinic. The patient is given instructions to follow and medical shampoos to use.
The first three days after hair transplantation are very important for the attachment of the transplanted hair follicles. During this time, you should protect your head from contact and impact. Findings such as crusting and itching can be seen in the operation area for up to 10 days.
After hair transplantation, the hair should be washed every day for a month with the shampoo recommended by the doctor, as indicated. After some of the transplanted hair is shed, the hair starts to grow thicker from the third month. At the end of one year, your hair regains a completely natural appearance.
